The September 18th Incident is also called Fengtian incident and Liutiao Lake incident. On September 18, 1931, the Japanese army stationed in Northeast China suddenly attacked Shenyang and occupied Northeast China by force, which was the beginning of Japanese imperialism's attempt to conquer China by force. It also marked the starting point of the world anti fascist war and opened the prelude to the eastern battlefield of the Second World War.
On the night of September 18, 1931, the Japanese Kwantung Army stationed in Northeast China, according to a well-designed plot, the railway "garrison" blew up the track of the South Manchu Railway built by Japan near Liutiao Lake in Shenyang, and put the blame on the Chinese army. The Japanese army used this as an excuse to bombard the North Camp of the Northeast Army of China, creating the "September 18 Incident" which shocked China and foreign countries. The next day, the Japanese army occupied Shenyang, and successively occupied the three northeast provinces. In February 1932, the whole territory of Northeast China was occupied. After that, Japan established the puppet regime of puppet Manchukuo in Northeast China and began to enslave and colonize the northeast people for 14 years, which made more than 30 million compatriots in Northeast China suffer from the painful taste of subjugation slaves.
